Volkswagen.Das Auto.Show 2011at the Bukit Jalil Stadium carpark – admission is free!

Volkswagen Group Malaysia is waiting to be a bigger player in the Malaysian market, and soon will have some models assembled locally to fight alongside the fully imported variants of the brand.

ERC models, starting with the Passat, will be more competitively priced and are sure to increase the volume significantly. The offensive of the brand begins now and is using the Auto.Show VGM Volkswagen.Das 2011 to convince the Malays that VW is  people's car  for us.

Located in the parking lot of the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, the Auto.Show Das is a showcase of big budget for VW cars and technology. Comprising a  Dome Mega  and  Dome Caterpillar  temporary structures are clearly visible targets from the main road. There is also a giant poster affixed to the stage to tell everyone why he has been sitting in traffic.


We attended the preview session for the VIPs and the media last night and was impressed by the magnitude of this  roadshow. As far as I remember, never before seen a showcase Malaysia elaborate and expensive this magnitude, and the audience yesterday were captivated by the spectacle. It looked more like a night of major engine VW Group preview show that a local event, and it was obvious VGM was best to impress.
Mega Dome (42m diameter, 21m high) is presented in the style auditorium with an elevated ring to see 12 cars in motion a cycle of 360 u200b u200bgrados around. A backdrop is projected on the walls of the dome of an effect of virtual reality, and there is a huge VW logo in the top of the igloo like structure.

VGM said to be the largest all-dome projection system of its kind in the world. Cars like the new Beetle, Golf and Passat, Passat Sedan, Sedan Polo, Amarok, CrossTouran, Pheaton and Scirocco R is shown and described here.
Caterpillar Dome connection on the other hand, is a curve of 100 meter long creature form. Supported by the air and free of columns, which houses the models currently sold as the Eos GTI VGM, and the TSI Golf, Touareg and Polo. There is also a large area of \u200b\u200bF u0026amp; B merchandise booths.

 The exhibition offers the public a deeper understanding of why the resources of the Volkswagen drivers of more than 150 countries. The exhibition explains the vision of Volkswagen motivates consumer confidence, which represents German engineering and reliability  said Ricky Tay, MD VGM.

The best thing for the public is that admission is free. The Auto.Show Volkswagen.Das 2011 will be open this weekend (10-11 September) from 10am till 10pm. What can you expect to see there?
