Hosni Mubarak Wants To Apologize to all Egypt people.


Cairo - A former Egyptian president, Hosni Mubarak and his wife, who is now detained for alleged corruption would like to apologize to the people of Egypt and the return of their assets in a desperate attempt to get amnesty, according to media reports.

According to reports published in local newspaper Al-Shorouk yesterday, Hosni reportedly be writing a letter to be published in the Egyptian television stations to apologize on behalf of himself and his family on the offense they once did to the people of Egypt.

The former president will also apologized "for any action arising out of false information given to him by his advisors, 'Al-Shorouk reported, citing sources Egyptian officials.

Hosni, 83, was in custody at a hospital in the Red Sea resort after reportedly having a heart attack during interrogation face corruption cases.

According to the newspaper, Hosni added that he was willing to give his wealth to the country.

"the former president's letter and the intention to surrender its assets to seek forgiveness from the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces who now ruled Egypt," the newspaper added.

Army sources told the newspaper that many people, part of Egypt and some Arab, is negotiating to carry the matter.

In a related development, the wife of Hosni, Suzanne was released yesterday after he surrenders his assets totaling approximately $ 4 million (RM12.1 million) in two bank accounts in Egypt, the country while her husband's administration also vowed to make a similar case.

Hosni resigned as president of Egypt on 11 February after protesters gathered in Tahrir Square, Cairo for 18 days to demand a withdrawal after 30 years of his reign.
