Sony Ericsson Playstation Phone That Not Rumored

Sony Ericsson Playstation Phone That Not Rumored:

What do think when you can play 3D playstation games with your phone? That great idea's. Now Sony Ericsson comes with new Phone "Sony Ericsson Playstation".
Sony Ericsson's CEO, Bert Nordberg, has dropped some hints on the PlayStation phone in a recent interview. While he didn't directly confirm the existence of the phone, he did mention that there was “a lot of smoke” and therefore there “must be a fire somewhere”. He also noted that such a phone would be technically easy for anyone, but was very glad that Sony could land rights deals with game publishers. There wasn’t a specific timing mentioned, but he did mention that he wanted to create some noise at the upcoming Mobile World Congress, an event which is often used for major international phone launches. Are we only a few short months away from seeing the PlayStation phone being officially unveiled?

Act Test Scores

Act Scores

When you want to improve SAT and ACT scores, the trick is to use all the resources available to you. Don't rely solely on your study guide - get involved with other students and challenge yourself before test time to get the best results.

After you take the ACT and SAT, you'll receive your scores in the mail a few weeks later. Each score report will provide a breakdown of your score by every subject in the test, as well as what percentile you fall into among test takers.

If you're taking the SAT or ACT for the first time, try to incorporate as many of the tips below before your first attempt - it could help you get a great score and avoid having to retake the tests later on. For those who are trying to improve SAT and ACT scores on a second or third try, these tips can also help you to do better on your next attempt. Either way, retaking the test isn't something to be ashamed of; many students go back a second or third time to get better scores. The important thing is to take steps each time to achieve a higher score.

Tip #1: Take a Class
Classes designed to help students improve SAT and ACT scores are possibly your best bet for a successful exam. The instructors for these classes have worked with hundreds of students who have had trouble with the exams, so they'll understand where you're coming from. They also provide solid information about what to expect and tips for how to read through the questions and give the best answer. Make sure you sign up for a class that includes a timed practice test - this will help you feel more confident when it's time for the real thing.

There are several resources for ACT and SAT prep classes, including Sylvan Tutoring, Kaplan and the Princeton Review. Check with your guidance counselor at school, too; there may be classes offered at your own high school that are cheaper or possibly even free. Learn more about ACT and SAT prep classes to help boost your score.

Tip #2: Start a Study Group
Study groups are a great way to improve SAT and ACT scores for a number of reasons. First, all the members of your group can used their combined experience to help prepare one another for the test. You can also share any study guides or other resources that you have purchased to help prepare youself for the test. Take practice tests together to prepare yourself for the real thing. Those who have never taken the test can really benefit from signing up for a study group that includes members who are experienced test takers.

Another significant benefit to study groups is that they'll help keep you on track as you prepare for the exam. If you don't know of any study groups, organize one yourself by putting up flyers or emailing your friends. Even if you only meet once or twice a week, it will help you to set time set aside to devote solely to test preparation. Best of all, it's free!

Tip #3: Focus On Specific Subjects
If you scored well on certain areas of the exam, focus on your problem areas for the next time you sign up for the test. For example, those who score well in English and reading should remember to focus on math and science when they retake the test. It may be more difficult to force yourself to study the subjects that are harder, but if you already know you can do well on certain area, don't bother spending equal time studying each subject. Instead, narrow your study time down to the subjects in which you really need to improve SAT and ACT scores.
That being said, don't speed through your easier subjects on the exam. Each subject is timed separately, so take advantage of the full time alotted to answer each question carefully. You could still improve your scores in your strong areas as well, so make sure to give yourself a quick refresher in those topics before the test date arrives.

Carnival Splendor Fire

Carnival Splendor Fire

(CBS/AP)  Navy helicopters shuttled in supplies Tuesday to 4,500 passengers and crew members expected to remain stranded on a disabled cruise ship off the coast of Mexico at least through Wednesday night.

Mexican seagoing tugboats were expected to reach the Carnival Splendor on Tuesday afternoon to begin the slow process of towing it to the Mexican port of Ensanada. Passengers will be bused back to California from there.

A U.S. Coast Guard cutter has now reached the cruise ship, ABC News reports.

The ship, which left from Long Beach on Sunday, was 200 miles south of San Diego when an engine room fire cut its power early Monday, according to a statement from Miami-based Carnival Cruise Lines. It began drifting off the coast of northern Baja California.

Monty Mathisen, of the New York-based trade publication Cruise Industries, called the fire a freak accident.

"This stuff does not happen, I mean once in a blue moon," he said. "The ships have to be safe, if not the market will collapse."

The last major accident on a cruise ship was when one sank in a Greek harbor in 2007 after hitting rocks. No one was hurt.

The 3,299 passengers and 1,167 crew members aboard the Splendor were not hurt either and the fire was put out, but the 952-foot Mexican Riveria-bound ship had no air conditioning, hot water or telephone service. It was also out of mobile phone range, preventing families from communicating with their loved ones.

After the fire, passengers were first asked to move from their cabins to the ship's upper deck, but eventually allowed to go back to their rooms.

Bottled water and cold food were provided, and the ship's auxiliary power allowed for toilets and cold running water.

On Tuesday, U.S. sailors loaded cargo planes with boxes of crab meat, croissants and other items for the stranded passengers. They were to be ferried to an aircraft carrier at sea, where helicopters will pick them up and drop them on the ship.

The tugboats were expected to arrive back at the port with the ship around 8 p.m. local time Wednesday, Coast Guard Petty Officer Kevin Metcalf said. Metcalf said the tugs, which will be escorted by a Coast Guard cutter, must move slowly because the ship is so big.

Space Coast Credit Union

Space Coast Credit Union

A credit union is a member-owned financial cooperative. The members pool their money and use it to provide financial products to themselves and other members. Profits are returned to members in the form of lower interest rates on loans, higher returns on deposit accounts, lower fees, and more free services than typically provided by a bank.

A credit union gives back to its members and the community it serves every day by providing services without the need to generate excess profits to pay out to stockholders or private owners. Members can trust in the products and services offered by their credit union, because the only reason profits are generated is to provide a return to the members. Because of their structure, credit unions have no motive to engage in deceptive advertising or predatory lending. They want what is best for their members, especially providing sound financial advice to members, in order to protect the interests of all who participate in the cooperative.

The existence of credit unions offers a market-based pricing control that benefits all consumers of financial services. Without this member-owned institution, there would be no financial institution whose sole interest was to price services to benefit you, the customer.

Space Coast Credit Union has been serving members since 1951. Over the years, the financial services we offer have expanded as the needs of our members have changed. On June 19, 2009, SCCU's Board of Directors approved a merger with Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union, with SCCU as the surviving entity. The resulting consolidated credit union is the third largest credit union in Florida and serves over 360,000 members with assets of over $3.2 billion through a network of 63 branches and 145 ATMs with the financial products and services needed to make purchases, finance homes and businesses, save money, and plan for the future.

We take the cooperative concept even further with our exclusive Member Rewards™ program, and by giving you rewards on your Credit card purchases. Simply put, the more you do with SCCU, the more you get in the form of free services and bonus deposit rates.

We look to our members to provide open and honest feedback about our products and services through the SCCU Members’ Watchdog Program. You will see member-generated ratings and reviews throughout our website that display the true voice of our members.

SCCU supports both our members and our community with services that go beyond deposits and loans. We use our extensive branch network to raise funds for local charities, the United Way, local emergencies such as the hurricane damage that impacted our area in 2004, and events of national concern such as the extensive damage from Hurricane Katrina. We partner with over 100 local businesses through our Member Discount Program in order to provide special value for our members while helping our corporate neighbors grow their businesses. We support learning in our communities through our Education Donation Program which allows our members to funnel many modest donations together to create a significant funding resource for classroom teachers and school organizations.

Lil Wayne Out of Jail - Said Thanks

Lil Wayne Out of Jail

Lil Wayne has a reason to party. The rapper has been freed from jail after serving eight months for having a loaded gun on his tour bus in 2007.

Lil Wayne‘s release date has come – Lil Wayne is out of jail

today, after an eight-month prison stay at Rikers Island in New York. Lil Way’s out of jail early, as he was slated to serve one year for possession of illegal guns.

Lil Wayne’s release came early this morning, and even though efforts were made to prevent too much publicity about his release, fans were gathered at Rikers Island to welcome Lil Wayne back into society.

The angels are rejoicing today—after eight months in jail over a gun possession charge, Lil Wayne is finally free! But just as his sentencing was continually interrupted by bizarre occurrences, including a courthouse fire and dental surgery, his parole came with its own minor snag: a miscalculation nearly forced Wayne to spend an extra day in jail. Once that was cleared up, Wayne was discharged from Rikers prison around 8:30 a.m. today.
