Lil Wayne Out of Jail - Said Thanks

Lil Wayne Out of Jail

Lil Wayne has a reason to party. The rapper has been freed from jail after serving eight months for having a loaded gun on his tour bus in 2007.

Lil Wayne‘s release date has come – Lil Wayne is out of jail

today, after an eight-month prison stay at Rikers Island in New York. Lil Way’s out of jail early, as he was slated to serve one year for possession of illegal guns.

Lil Wayne’s release came early this morning, and even though efforts were made to prevent too much publicity about his release, fans were gathered at Rikers Island to welcome Lil Wayne back into society.

The angels are rejoicing today—after eight months in jail over a gun possession charge, Lil Wayne is finally free! But just as his sentencing was continually interrupted by bizarre occurrences, including a courthouse fire and dental surgery, his parole came with its own minor snag: a miscalculation nearly forced Wayne to spend an extra day in jail. Once that was cleared up, Wayne was discharged from Rikers prison around 8:30 a.m. today.
