Fukushima could be worse than Chernobyl


The Japanese Fukushima only "temporarily" placed in the highest category of incident scale. This hope is likely to prove illusory.
The reactor disaster in Fukushima has now been officially classified by the Japanese authorities in the highest category of the international INES scale accidents: 7 So far this ugly top position was occupied only by the nuclear accident at Chernobyl.The fact that after the obvious consequences of the accidents of Fukushima here would have only an accident of the level 5 should act, had in the past few weeks anyway, hardly anyone believed.
Anyway, it's not as if these days - would have dramatically worsened the situation in Fukushima - perhaps by the aftershocks of the recent strength of 7.1. It would be rather appropriate that the classification was now carried out earlier.
